Facial Volume, Structure & Support
WHAT IS IT?
Over time, the face undergoes changes that affect its volume, structure, and support. The loss and redistribution of facial fat, a gradual decline in collagen and elasticity, and changes in deeper anatomical structures can alter facial contours and proportions.
These changes may appear as volume loss in certain areas, reduced facial definition, deeper folds, or a more tired appearance, even when overall skin quality remains well preserved.
Every face ages differently. For this reason, understanding the relationship between volume, structure, and supporting tissues is essential to preserving facial proportions and individual identity.
HOW IS IT TREATED?
Treatment is personalized following a comprehensive assessment of facial anatomy, volume distribution, tissue quality, and each patient’s individual proportions.
Depending on the characteristics of each case, different treatments may be recommended to restore support, improve tissue quality, visually reposition volume, or reinforce strategic areas of the face.
The goal is not to change facial features or add volume indiscriminately, but to work with the natural structure of the face, restoring balance, definition, and harmony while maintaining a natural appearance.
